Die Zukunft Israels. Zionismus und alternative Konzepte für die Lösung des israelisch-palästinensischen Konfliktes (=Vorschlag)
PULSSince the failure of the Oslo agreements, growing settlements in the West Bank and the absence of a sovereign Palestinian state, Zionist thinking, also on the future of Israel, must reinvent itself. Do any options exist, or is giving up on democratic Zionism altogether necessary? Is an old-new bi-national program, in the form of a federal constellation, an option? Aside historical considerations, we will discuss controversially discussed questions in Germany: the future of the relations between Germany and Israel anti-Semitism versus anti-Zionism German debates around the BDS. The end of the seminar will be dedicated to considering the possibility of writing a bi-national Jewish-Palestinian constitution.
